So the layout for God's Decay is up, but not the site itself. I need to do that with all of the hiatus sites so people will know that they aren't closing. I would appreciate any comments you have about the new layout.
On reflection, I decided to do the same thing with Redhead Dancing Girl. I am actually hoping that you lot will be able to help me with the update. One of the features of the site is a little quiz in which I list a number of anime/manga characters and the view must answer whether they are taken, gay, or both. Well a lot of the people I used are from old 90's anime and I would like to update it a bit. Could you people suggest a few characters and tell me their series and if they are taken, gay, or both? Naturally it has to be a canon relationship or sexual orientation, not just conjecture, otherwise every male character ever could be listed as gay. =) I would really appreciate the help. Thanks.

So it's 2010. It should be an interesting year, if nothing else. I am out of the school system and must enter the work force (again). I view this with a certain level of trepidation and excitement.
In other news, Petal, my Nuala dedication, is finally open. I opened it on December 31st, early evening, in order to make the deadline. It isn't entirely finished, and I would like to get my hands on volume 7, but it's opened with a bit of content. To be honest, I'm going to avoiding adding media to the site like images, wallpapers, and icons. First of all, there aren't a lot of good, big images of her in the work. Second, I'm worried about getting nailed for copyright violation. I know all of my sites violate copyright like there is no tomorrow, but I guess I'm more worried about this site. =( Anyway, I've been planning it forever and it is up. YEAH!
I've also updated the layouts for Hands and Storybook Children. Hands really needs some work (in fact, I just noticed a mistake on the front page) and Storybook Children has always been problematic. I worry though that my layouts are becoming to boring, and, while it isn't a problem in these layouts, I rely on far too much on gray.
I have a new layout for Redhead Dancing Girl and God's Decay, both of which are not presently on line, but both sites need MASSIVE updates before I upload them. Along the way I need to update Wayward Romeo, Ophelia, and Ribbons Undone. Blue Girl is my ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) amassment project and Sugar High should be opened before I go to China. Maybe I'll post a preview or two in the coming days.
Other than that, life is pretty quiet. I watched Dr. Who last night and it was better than I expected, but lacked sufficient Dana. I'm thinking about doing a one-page tribute to her, but we'll see.

Holy crap! That was a very intense work of fiction. I thought I was prepared to read it since I've read "The Sandman" and that is pretty dark too, but DAMN! I won't give away any spoilers, but it was really quite amazing. Almost all of the characters are unsympathetic assholes, but the story was so engaging that I could not put it down. I have rented the movie and I will watch it either tonight or tomorrow. I'm sure it will be very different from the book, but I'm still interested in seeing it.

I write a little Entry in my LJ :)
We travel tomorrow at 7.15 in the early Morning back to Stuttgart.
A little bit over 7 Hours travel via the German Railway.
Bautzen to Dresden/Neustadt
then
Dresden/Neustadt to Frankfurt Mainstation
and then
Frankfurt Mainstation to Stuttgart
Plan for tomorrow in the Train, we travel with the ICE from Dresden over Frankfurt and when I remember right from Frankfurt to Stuttgart with another, sleeping and reading a Book [or two?].I must see it, but I really hope that I finished one of my 4 Books tomorrow.
We had a wonderful Christmas Time here and I hope that our Hamsterboy Squirrel enjoy his Freetime too :D.

DOCTOR WHO star DAVID TENNANT is hoping to start a family in the New Year (10) - because he doesn't want to miss out on parenthood.
The actor is currently dating 24-year-old actress Georgia Moffett, who is the daughter of former Doctor Who star Peter Davison, and admits he is ready to settle down with her and become a dad.
He says, "It feels an important thing to do and I'd hate to miss out on it. I'm only 38 but my parents had had three kids by this age and I have had none yet."
Tennant also paid an emotional tribute to his mum Helen, who died of cancer in 2007, insisting he hopes he can be a good a parent as she was.
He adds, "My mum's gone now but I feel very fortunate to have had the upbringing that I had and to have had the family around me that I've had."

I am presently uploading several of my sites and I hope to have at least half of Alexiel.net back up by tonight. The other half are in desperate need of updates or I was in the process of updating them so they are currently a mess. Several sites will be getting new layouts and new content when I can get to it.
Also, I am working on my Girl Shrine, Petal, featuring Nuala from The Sandman. I want to have that up by Thursday.
Finally, I was wondering if anyone wanted to affiliate with Alexiel.net, now that it is back from the dead. Link exchanges are also cool. I think I have most of my friendlist linked, but if I've missed your site, please let me know.
Well, that is it. Back to work. I'm just glad to have all of this sorted out.

Merry Christmas and everything else. I hope your winter holidays are suitably jolly, delightful, or solemn, whichever suits your lifestyle.
As for me, there has been some family drama around here, but it is, at the moment, overwhelmed by my generally good mood, mostly based on the fact that I have a new computer monitor! On the old one the colors would go blue or red sometimes, making it difficult to design or even read things. This is a plus.
I'll worry about Alexiel.net on Saturday.
